The "SOL LIPKIN AWARD" is described by John McDermott of The Shuffleboard Federation, as follows:
"Regarding the Sol Lipkin award, we consider it the highest honor we can award someone.
We do not accept nominations, and it is given less than annually, making it even more special."
Visit the Shuffleboard Federation Website.
In 1992 SOL LIPKIN was given an award, which stated that an award was to be given in his honor.
Sol then presented GEORGE and DONNA WILBER with the "first" "SOL LIPKIN AWARD".
